A fine art digital print from the latest album 'Moontopia' by the Sounds of Space Project, a collaboration between Dr Nigel Meredith, Diana Scarborough and Professor Kim Cunio.<\/p>

Eleven new tracks and artworks have been created for this project featuring music inspired by and including space 'sounds' recorded by spacecraft in the vicinity of moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Like all our albums, this is a fusion of art and science and a type of dreaming of how art and science can tell the great stories of our time.<\/p>

This digital print is the artwork for track four of the \u2018Moontopia\u2019 album. It is created by Diana Scarborough, the multimedia artist in the Sounds of Space Project band.\u00a0 Album is freely available on Bandcamp together with background information: https:\/\/soundsofspaceproject.bandcamp.com\/album\/moontopia<\/p>
<\/p>
The artwork for \"Offworld Sentience\" is as weird and wonderful as the soundtrack. Scarborough has digitally layered her numerous enamel paint patterns that are then cropped into large circular moon or gong-like forms. Her design inspiration is \u2018off-world party night\u2019. Entanglements of colour and shadows with mists of purple and white are a visual nod to surreal sentience, one that she imagines exists in Titan moon space.<\/p>
